2007 was an exceptional year for York in the beauty stakes with Georgia Horsley, Miss York 2005, lifting the coveted crown ahead of current Miss York, Naomi Smith. Naomi was also awarded Best Hair at the glamorous Miss England finals in June.

Georgia is now living her dream. A successful ambassador for her country, she is now looking forward to a bright future as a model in London when she hands over her title in London later this year.
